Wrigley Area Residents Warned After Several Violent Robberies
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are warning of several recent violent robberies near Wrigley Field on the North Side.
Several suspects use force to rob victims after approaching them on the street, according to the community alert from Chicago Police. In at least two of the robberies, the suspects engaged the victims in conversation first.
The robberies happened:
- About 12:30 a.m. on July 19 in the 3500 block of North Clark;
- About 1:15 a.m. on July 20 in the 3300 block of North Halsted; and
- About 5:30 a.m. on July 25 in the 3200 block of North Halsted.
The victims gave varying descriptions of the suspects.
