Report Of Shooting Shuts Down Eisenhower Overnight
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A report of shots fired brought traffic to a halt on the Eisenhower Expy. overnight.
Illinois State Police were called to the scene at Homan Avenue around 9:40 on Tuesday night.
Police closed the expressway and checked the pavement carefully for bullets, shell casing or any evidence of a shooting.
After the search, state troopers said there were no victims.
The Eisenhower is back open for the morning rush.
