Two Bank Robberies Reported Monday In Oak Park
(STMW) -- Two separate bank robberies were reported Monday in west suburban Oak Park.
The first robbery happened about 11:25 a.m. at Community Bank at 1001 Lake St. in Oak Park, according to the FBI.
The suspect was described as a black male about 6-foot and 200 pounds wearing a wig, according to FBI.
The second robbery happened about 4 p.m. at the U.S. Bank branch at 6020 W. Roosevelt, according to the FBI.
The Midday Bandit, who is suspected in at least six other robberies in Chicago and the western suburbs, is suspected of committing that robbery.
The bandit is described a black man in his 20s, about 160 pounds with facial hair, according to the FBI.
An FBI spokesperson could not immediately reached for additional details about the robberies.
