Top Games On Bulls' 2015-'16 Schedule

(CBS) The NBA released its full schedule Wednesday, and you can see what lies ahead for the Bulls here.

If you're of the shorter attention span, though, here's the quick rundown of the top games to watch.

Oct. 27: Cavaliers at Bulls

For the second straight year, Chicago and Cleveland will be a marquee matchup in the first week of the season. This time, they'll be featured in the very first NBA game of the regular season when LeBron James and the Cavaliers invade the United Center for a 7 p.m. game on TNT. Cleveland is the defending Eastern Conference champion and figures to be healthier than when the teams met last time. Despite Kevin Love being out the entire second-round series in the 2015 playoffs and Kyrie Irving being hobbled, the Cavaliers prevailed against the Bulls in six games.

That marked the end of Tom Thibodeau's coaching career in Chicago. Now, rookie coach Fred Hoiberg will be tasked with figuring out how to get the Bulls through the LeBron roadblock. This is his first chance to show off his system in a meaningful game, and the hope for the Bulls is that a more efficient offense will have the firepower to match the talented Cavs.

Nov. 5: Thunder at Bulls

Yes, they play on Christmas Day in Oklahoma City in a game that will draw more eyeballs, but we'll double up on this list because no game had the United Center going more bananas in 2014-'15 than a March matchup between the Bulls and Thunder that featured Russell Westbrook in one-man-hero-turbo mode and an E'Twaun Moore 3-pointer in the final seconds for a Chicago win. This will be a telling test for Derrick Rose in facing Westbrook and should pit two up-tempo offenses with rookie coaches, as Hoiberg leads the Bulls and Billy Donovan leads the Thunder.

Nov. 20: Bulls at Warriors

The Bulls' hope in firing Thibodeau and hiring Hoiberg was that he could infuse Chicago with the type of jolt and offensive efficiency that Steve Kerr did in leading Golden State to a championship in his first season. Well, there's no better chance to see how that works than to face the defending champs in Oracle Arena, the hardest environment to play face in the entire league.

Nov. 30: Spurs at Bulls

San Antonio remains the gold standard in the NBA and will be a handful with LaMarcus Aldridge added to an already dangerous mix of players.

Dec. 12: Pelicans at Bulls

Anthony Davis isn't going anywhere after signing a long-term contract this past offseason in New Orleans, so his hometown fans have set their dreams aside of luring him to Chicago. They should also enjoy the burgeoning young superstar who is one of a kind.

Dec. 25: Bulls at Thunder

Jimmy Butler got his $90-million-plus contract in July. With that comes more scrutiny, and there's no better time to prove to the masses you're worth that than a Christmas Day game against former MVP Kevin Durant, the best pure scorer in the NBA.

Jan. 12: Bulls at Bucks

The Bucks had a quality offseason, as Greg Monroe's low-post skills fill a void that they had. After a physical first-round playoff series this past season, the Bulls-Bucks matchup carries more juice as well now too. This is Chicago's first trip to the Bradley Center in 2015-'16, a place that figures to be rocking like a college arena.

Feb. 21: Lakers at Bulls

This could be Kobe Bryant's last game in Chicago. And you know Bryant's always loved to play in big markets on the road.

April 5: Bulls at Grizzlies

Pau Gasol will have a chance to face his brother Marc again in a matchup of two of the league's best centers.
