Watch: Kyle Schwarber Is Still Crushing It, Homering Twice
(CBS) Cubs rookie Kyle Schwarber is continuing to crush the baseball.
Already having swung well enough and displayed the maturity to earn a starting job of late in left field, Schwarber had arguably his best perofrmance as a major leaguer Thursday afternoon, going 3-for-4 with two homers, four RBIs, two runs and a walk as Chicago was a 9-2 winner against Milwaukee at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs have now won seven straight games and 13 of their past 14.
Schwarber hit a solo homer in the fifth inning and a two-run blast in the seventh inning, and both were no-doubters. In 31 games this season, he's hitting .330 with eight homers, 25 RBIs and 26 runs.
Take a look at Schwarber's homers below. All told, the Cubs hit five as a team.
