The 27-year-old Cahill will report to Triple-A Iowa, the Chicago Tribune reported. Cahill was 0-3 with a 7.52 ERA in 26 1/3 innings for the Braves earlier this season. He compiled a 6.28 ERA in 29 innings at Triple-A for the Dodgers.

Cahill had a 5.61 ERA for the Diamondbacks in 2014.
