John Fox Doesn't Rule Out Injured Bears For Saturday's Preseason Game

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) Nothing changed on the injury front as the Bears wrapped up their Thursday practice at Halas Hall.

The Bears' top receivers -- Alshon Jeffery (calf), Eddie Royal (hip) and Marquess Wilson (hamstring) -- all missed practice once again, as did safety Ryan Mundy (hip). However, coach John Fox didn't rule anyone out for Saturday's contest at Cincinnati.

"Something could change," Fox said. "They're day-to-day in my mind."

With the slew of injuries, most depleting on the offense, there's been some question as to whether Fox will approach Saturday's dress rehearsal as normal or whether he would limit other offensive starters.

Fox said he's keeping to routine, moving forward with the status quo, even despite the many injuries.

"We're going to approach it the same way we always would in game three of the preseason," Fox said. "Some guys will get more time than others. This will be the most extended the starters will play as we get ready for the preseason opener as we try to get ready for our season opener."
