Report: Bears Acquire TE Khari Lee From Texans

(CBS) The Bears have acquired undrafted tight end Khari Lee from the Texans in exchange for a 2017 sixth-round draft pick, the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reported.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Lee is considered an in-line blocking tight end, which Chicago has been seeking for offensive coordinator Adam Gase. Lee has five catches for 71 yards this preseason.

Behind starter Martellus Bennett, the Bears have uncertainty at the tight end position, with Bear Pascoe, Zach Miller and Dante Rosario among those in the mix for a job.

Lee, 23, attended Bowie State.

In a corresponding move, the Bears waived tight end Blake Annen on Wednesday.
