Cops Search For Man Who Robbed Lisle Dunkin' Donuts
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man robbed a Dunkin' Donuts store in west suburban Lisle Thursday evening.
About 6:45 p.m., he walked into the store at 1109 Maple Ave., placed his hand behind his back and demanded cash from the employee at the register, according to Lisle police.
The employee handed over an unspecified amount of money and the man took off in a black Ford Focus, eastbound on Maple, police said.
He didn't show a weapon and no one was hurt.
The robber is described as a white man between 20 and 40 years old, about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds, wearing a light-colored knit cap, a light teal-green T-shirt and blue jeans.
He had a tattoo on his upper right arm near the elbow, possibly of a star-shaped design. He also had a cast, bandage or or sleeve on his lower left forearm, possibly to cover up other tattoos, police said.
