Man Shot And Killed In Burnside
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side on Tuesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the back of the head in the 9300 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue at 3:30 p.m., police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death.
