Report: Bears' Alshon Jeffery Expected To Return Sunday Against Raiders

(CBS) Badly in need of some offensive playmakers amid an 0-3 start, the Bears may get some help for Sunday's home game against the Raiders.

Top receiver Alshon Jeffery is expected to return from a hamstring injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday morning, after missing the two previous games. The injury also limited Jeffery in the season opener against the Packers, though he still had five catches for 78 yards.

Without Jeffery for the past two games and without starting quarterback Jay Cutler for the past six quarters, the Bears have struggled mightily, utilizing an ultra-conservative offensive game plan. In place of Cutler, Jimmy Clausen was 9-of-17 for just 63 yards in a 26-0 loss at Seattle on Sunday.

Bears coach John Fox is scheduled to meet with the media Monday afternoon. He'll likely be asked about Jeffery, but he rarely gives much insight into injuries early in the week.
