Chicago Company Recalls 561,000 Pounds Of Chicken

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chicago company is expanding a recall of chicken, a total of an additional 561,000 pounds of frozen, raw, stuff and breaded products, that might be contaminated with salmonella.

There are 19 brands associated with the Aspen Foods recall, including Centrella, Kirkwood, Market Day, Roundy's, Rosebud Farm, Sysco and Safeway.

The frozen, raw, stuffed, and breaded chicken items that appear to be ready-to-eat (RTE) were produced between August 25, 2015 and September 17, 2015 with "best if used by" dates of August 23, 2016 to December 15, 2016.

In July, the company recalled nearly 2 million pounds of chicken.
