WATCH: Kyle Schwarber Destroys A Golf Ball, Too
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Kyle Schwarber didn't need a kayak on this drive.
A video on YouTube shows the Cubs' rookie swinging for the fences on the golf course.
According to the You Tube post, Schwarber's drive flew over the water hazard -- and the green -- more than 370 yards from the tee at Shaker Run Golf Course in Cincinnati.
This is front of the mind because in the Cubs' 4-0 win against the Pirates in Wednesday's NL wild-card game, Schwarber hit a mammoth two-run homer to right field off of Pirates ace Gerrit Cole, giving Chicago a 3-0 lead. It was estimated to have gone 449 feet, and though video wasn't clear, it may have also gone into the Allegheny River that runs just behind PNC Park.
It was a homer that Schwarber had called a few weeks earlier, Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein said.
"He said, 'Oh, get a kayak. I'm going into the river,'" Epstein said. "And he did."
Check out the video of Schwarber's golf drive below. He even takes a baseball stance in his swing at it.
