The victims had been among about 30 people attending a memorial barbecue in a park for a friend who died in a car crash. Witnesses said shots were fired at the group from an alley.

22-year-old Ayanna Northern, 25-year-old Antian Hardmon and 28-year-old Tyrone Spikes were killed.

The offenders took off in van and police say Area Central detectives tracked them down and arrested the two, now facing numerous charges including first degree murder.
