Hroniss Grasu Questionable, Shea McClellin Doubtful Against Vikings

By Chris Emma—

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) – On a day in which details surrounding Jeremiah Ratliff's outburst last week dominated the conversation at Halas Hall, the Bears may have received some good news on the injury front for Sunday's contest against the Vikings.

Rookie center Hroniss Grasu (neck) was listed as questionable by the Bears, but he was optimistic in addressing his health status, saying he's "way more hopeful" that he'll be ready.

Grasu was injured in Wednesday's practice and missed Thursday's workout. He returned in a limited fashion on Friday, a positive step. If Grasu is unable to play, the Bears have worked starting left guard Matt Slauson in at center this week.

Linebacker Shea McClellin (knee) is doubtful to play. He was at Halas Hall on Friday but didn't practice. McClellin has yet to play since suffering the knee injury in a Week 5 win at Kansas City.

Additionally, the Bears listed Jermon Bushrod (shoulder), Bruce Gaston (illness) and Antrel Rolle (ankle) as questionable, and Patrick Omameh (ankle), Matt Slauson (knee) and Pernell McPhee (non-injury absence) as probable.

The Bears (2-4) host Minnesota (4-2) at noon on Sunday at Soldier Field.
