Designer Operating Emergency Halloween Costume Repair Clinic In Uptown

(CBS) -- A professional costume designer worked her magic last minute for those who visited her emergency Halloween clinic in Uptown.

Anna G is a professional designer who begins making Halloween costumes in July, everything from Incredible Hulks and Godzillas to paper dolls and gladiators.

She's turned down requests for a month, but at the emergency clinic she and her helpers use sewing machines, duct tape, foam and glue guns to make their instant costumes while another woman did makeup.

Anna says she is going to be a silent film star and is making her costume later.

"I am going to pick up some makeup and I'm going to just paint myself pretty much white, black and gray in different shades and tones," she said. "I picked up some fake filmstrip garland earlier and glue gun it to a dress so it looks like a giant reel of film and I might pick up some foam or cardboard that I have here and cut it out into a reel so it looks like a giant reel on my head."

Lights, camera, relief.
