Armed Suspect Empty-Handed After Dropping In Through Restaurant Roof
(CBS) – An armed suspect attempted to rob an Irving Park fast-food restaurant Monday after he dropped in through the roof, police said.
Employees at a combination KFC and Taco Bell at Irving Park and California told police an armed man confronted them around 8:30 a.m. The workers fled, and the suspect left with no money, police said.
Responding officers determined the would-be robber came through an opening in the roof.
No one was in custody.
