Man Shot In The Face In Brighton Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot in the face and seriously wounded late Monday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 40-year-old was standing outside at 11:04 p.m. in the 2900 block of West 40th Street when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left cheek and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
