Family Of Slain Aspiring Model Passes Out Flyers In Hopes Of Finding Killer
(CBS) -- The search continues for the gunman who killed aspiring model Kaylyn Pryor on an Englewood street corner as she waited for a bus.
More than a month has passed since she was shot after visiting with her grandparents, intending to return home to Evanston.
Saturday, the 20-year-old gunshot victim's parents were among those who called on the killer to turn himself in. They then handed out flyers in the area surrounding the scene of the murder, at 73rd and May Streets.
"The only thing I can do is pray that the person who took my child's life away from me comes forward," said Royce Pryor, the woman's mother. "Anybody that knows any information, come forward."
Her father, Alan Scott, called the past month "a nightmare" and said, "I miss her dearly."
Kaylyn Pryor had recently won a Mario Tricoci modeling competition and had signed a contract shortly before the murder, on Nov. 2.
There is a $26,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.
