Blackhawks Recall Winger Bryan Bickell From Rockford
(CBS) The Blackhawks have recalled winger Bryan Bickell from AHL Rockford ahead of their game against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday afternoon.
The 29-year-old Bickell has seven goals and seven assists in 12 games with the Icehogs this season. The Blackhawks sent him to Rockford in early November after he failed to record a point in the first seven games of the season. Bickell also had a poor 2014-'15 campaign, tallying 28 points in 80 games despite skating with some of the team's top playmakers.
Bickell has played over 366 career regular-season games and 75 playoff games with the Blackhawks, registering 133 regular-season points and 39 postseason points. He was a member of the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup wins in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
