Bears Make Minor Roster Moves

(CBS) The Bears promoted defensive tackle D'Anthony Smith from the practice squad to the active roster in a series of minor roster moves Tuesday.

Chicago also waived running back Antone Smith, terminated the practice squad contract of defensive lineman Toby Johnson and signed cornerback De'Vante Bausby and defensive lineman Davon Coleman to the practice squad.

D'Anthoy Smith appeared in a combined 10 games with the Jaguars and Seahawks in 2012 and 2013, respectively, recording 15 tackles in that span.

Bausby is an undrafted free agent who entered the league this year out of Pittsburgh State.

Coleman appeared in four games with the Cowboys in 2014 and 2015 after entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State.
