Five Hurt In Two-Car Crash In Hillside
(CBS) -- A two-car crash in west suburban Hillside sent five people to the hospital Friday night.
The crash occurred at Wolf and Harrison sometime before 11 a.m., near Proviso West High School. Three people were transported to Loyola in critical condition and two were transported to Elmhurst. Hillside police said that one of the victims taken to Loyola remains in critical condition.
Police say that the accident is alcohol related and one of the vehicles ran a red light. A 23-year-old man is in custody and charges are pending, police said.
