Bears Sign DL Keith Browner To Futures Contract

(CBS) The Bears have signed three-year veteran defensive lineman Keith Browner to a reserve/futures contract , they announced Monday afternoon.

Browner, a 6-foot-4, 288-pound defensive tackle, appeared in three games with the Houston Texans in 2014. He joined the franchise as an undrafted free agent out of California in 2012.

Last Monday, the Bears also signed nine players to reserve/futures contracts. Those players are cornerback De'Vante Bausby, quarterback Matt Blanchard, center Cornelius Edison, fullback Paul Lasike, receiver Marcus Lucas, linebacker Danny Mason, receiver Nathan Palmer, tight end Gannon Sinclair and guard Martin Wallace.

The Bears finished the 2015 season with a 6-10 record.
