Belize Police Pursuing Other Angles In Murder Of Chicago Journalist Anne Swaney

(CBS) -- A Belize police spokesman says nothing was found on a person of interest to tie him to last week's killing of ABC Chicago online executive producer Anne Swaney. The spokesman said at this point, police are looking at other angles.

The Guatemalan man was initially taken into custody after he was seen near the Mopan river where Swaney was found dead in the water. He told authorities he was fishing.

Belize police charged him with illegal entry into the country and he's been sentenced to six months in prison.

Swaney's funeral is set for Saturday, in her hometown in Missouri.
