Blackhawks Recall Mark McNeill From Rockford

(CBS) The Blackhawks have recalled forward Mark McNeill from AHL Rockford, they announced Monday morning.

The 22-year-old McNeill has 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 29 games with the Icehogs.

The Blackhawks took McNeill in the first round of the 2011 draft. He hasn't yet appeared in an NHL game.

Chicago plays at Carolina on Tuesday evening.
