Police Searching For Suspect In Armed Robberies At North Side Cell Phone Stores
(CBS) -- Chicago Police have released surveillance images of a suspect in a pair of armed robberies at cellular phone stores on the North Side.
The robberies occurred in the 2500 block of W. North Avenue at 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 21 and in the 3200 block of West North Ave. at 6:28 p.m. on Jan. 28.
Police say in each incident, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect is a male between the ages of 28 to 50, 5'9" to 6'2" tall, 170 to 210 pounds and wearing a black skull cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, black coat, blue jeans and brown, black gloves, police said.
