Bears Hire Ben McDaniels As Offensive Quality Control Coach

(CBS) The Bears have hired Ben McDaniels, brother of veteran NFL assistant Josh McDaniels, as their offensive quality control coach.

McDaniels, 35, joins the Bears after one season with Rutgers serving as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

McDaniels played quarterback at Kent State and has been in coaching since 2003. He's spent three years in the NFL, working with the Broncos under his brother's regime, then moving to the Buccaneers in 2013.

Chicago is still in search for a receivers coach.
