Police: Woman Fatally Shot Trying To Break Up Fight At Austin Party
(STMW) -- A woman trying to break up a fight at an Austin neighborhood party was shot and killed Saturday morning, police said.
Two males got into an argument while they were at the party in the 300 block of South Cicero about 5:25 a.m., police said.
A 25-year-old woman stepped in between the two to break them up, but one of the males shot her in the head, police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
