Watch: Sabres' Jack Eichel Goes Distance For Incredible Goal
(CBS) At 19, Jack Eichel of the Buffalo Sabres is one of the NHL's brightest young stars. The No. 2 overall pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, he has produced some great moments during his rookie season.
On Sunday, Eichel produced one of the best highlights this 2015-'16 season has seen. Eichel took a loose puck in the Sabres' defensive zone and took it the distance, going end to end around the entire Avalanche five on the ice before blasting a snipe in for a goal.
