Pregnant Illinois Woman Tests Positive For Zika Virus

(CBS) -- The Illinois Department of Public Health says another pregnant woman has tested positive for the Zika virus.

This latest case means there are now three confirmed cases of Zika among pregnant women in Illinois.

Doctors have linked Zika to microcephaly - a birth defect where the head is smaller than normal.

Besides the three cases of the virus in pregnant women, six other females also have Zika and four males have it.

The Illinois Department of Public Health says all 13 had traveled to other countries.
