Quenneville, Blackhawks Going With Nuclear Line In Game 5

(CBS) Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville will utilize the nuclear line for a must-win Game 5 against the Blues on Thursday night.

Quenneville will pair stars Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane on the same line, a move he rarely employs. Richard Panik will also skate with them.

Teuvo Teravainen will also move onto the wing on the second line alongisde Artem Anisimov and Artemi Panarin, a duo that typically skates with Kane. Andrew Ladd, Marcus Kruger and Marian Hossa are set to comprise the third line.

The Blackhawks will be without forward Andrew Shaw, who was suspended for one game after using a homophobic slur late in their Game 4 loss.

Defenseman David Rundblad will also play Thursday, Quenneville said. He hasn't played for the Blackhawks since mid-December, as to was loaned to the ZSC Lions in Switzerland.

Chicago trails 3-1 in the series. Puck drop is set for a little after 8:30 p.m. at the Scottrade Center.
