Police Warn Of Garage Burglaries On Southwest Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police have issued an alert after a series of garage burglaries in and around the Brighton Park neighborhood in the past month.

Police say there have been nine garage burglaries in the month of April in which property has been stolen from residential garages.

1. 4500 block of South Sacramento on April 1 at 8:00 p.m.
2. 4200 block of West Campbell on April 5 at 11:00 p.m.
3. 4100 block of South Maplewood on April 6 at 11:00 a.m.
4. 4500 block of South Western Avenue on April 7 at 9:30 p.m.
5. 200 block of West 46th Place on April 10 at 11:30 p.m.
6. 4500 block of South Albany on April 11 at 12:01 a.m.
7. 4500 block of South Talman on April 13 at 2:00 p.m.
8. 4600 block of South Whipple on April 14 at 6:00 p.m.
9. 3100 block of West 42nd Street on April 23 at 9:00 a.m.
