Woman Wounded In Chicago Lawn Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 26-year-old woman was shot in the back early Thursday, when someone in another vehicle opened fire on an SUV in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
The woman was riding in the SUV at the intersection of 60th Street and Albany Avenue around 1:30 a.m., when another vehicle pulled up alongside, and someone in that vehicle began shooting.
At least three bullets struck the SUV, and at least one of those struck the victim in her back.
She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition was stabilized.
No one was in custody early Thursday.
