Two Teens Shot On South Side

(CBS) -- Two teens were seriously injured Monday in what may have been an accidental shooting in the Gresham neighborhood.

Authorities couldn't immediately explain what transpired, but it appears one of the teens shot the other and that the two are siblings.

There were two difference scenes: one at 76th and Emerald, where an 18-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the head; and one at 73rd and Halsted, where a 16-year-old male was shot twice in the leg.

Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.

A neighbor said the family had just moved in. "It's an unfortunate situation," the neighbor tells CBS 2's Brad Edwards.
