(CBS) -- Who would stand in a two-block long line for a beer?
Hundreds of Chicagoans are toasting Craft Beer Week with a big line for a special brew.
The line stretched out the door around the corner and back a block as customers awaited the chance to fill growler bottles with Galactic Double Daisy Cutter from the Half Acre Brewery, at 4257 N. Lincoln Ave.
Half Acre brews its Galactic Double Daisy Cutter once a year.
How good is it? Many of those standing in line admitted to ditching work just to get a good glass of beer. Most said they would drink it tonight or this weekend, and said Half Acre will have none left to sell this weekend.
Half Acre uses a recipe with double the number of Galaxy hops. Fans call the pale ale dank, hoppy and extra delicious.
