Bulls' Jimmy Butler Earns 2nd Team All-Defense Honors

(CBS) Bulls wing Jimmy Butler was named to the NBA's second team all-defense, the league announced Wednesday.

It was the third straight season Butler, who averaged 1.6 steals per game, has earned second-team all-defense honors. Butler garnered 18 first-team votes and 26 second-team votes in voting done by 130 media members across the league. He was the only Bulls player to draw a vote.

Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard was the headliner, as he was a first-team all-defense unanimous selection. He was joined on the first team by Warriors forward Draymond Green, Clippers guard Chris Paul, Celtics guard Avery Bradley and Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.

Joining Butler on the second team were Hawks forward Paul Millsap, Pacers forward Paul George, Grizzlies guard Tony Allen and Heat center Hassan Whiteside.
