Former Bear Bryan Robinson Dies At 41

(CBS) Former Bears defensive lineman Bryan Robinson has died at 41, his body found Saturday in a Milwaukee hotel room

The police aren't treating his death as suspicious and investigators found no obvious signs of trauma.

An employee at the Midpoint Motel, 10155 W. Appleton, Ave., in Milwaukee called 911 on Saturday evening. The manager went to check on Robinson around 8:30 p.m. and found him unresponsive.

According to police, Robinson checked into the hotel at 9 a.m. The manager of the motel told police Robinson was a "regular" there and had intended to check out of the room at 6 p.m. Another man who was with Robinson was observed leaving the hotel between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Robinson played 14 NFL seasons, from 1997 to 2010. He played for the Bears from 1998 to 2003. Of his 24 career sacks, 16.5 came during his Chicago tenure.

Robinson also played for the Rams, Dolphins, Bengals and Cardinals.
