Iowa Man Dies After Falling Off Boat At Montrose Harbor

(CBS) – A 23-year-old Iowa man died Friday evening after falling off a boat at Montrose Harbor.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Lifeguards pulled the man from the water, and he was transported to Weiss Hospital. He was pronounced dead, the Chicago Police Department said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Ryan Klingensmith of Iowa City.
