CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three teenagers were hurt in a shooting early Monday in north suburban Evanston.

A few minutes before 1 a.m., officers on patrol near Lyons Street and Dodge Avenue heard several gunshots, according to a statement from Evanston police. They found two victims at a home in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue.

A 19-year-old Evanston boy was shot in the left bicep and a 17-year-old Skokie boy was shot in the right thigh, police said. Both were taken to Evanston Hospital.

A third victim, a 17-year-old Evanston boy, later showed up at Evanston Hospital with a wound to his left hamstring from a bullet fragment, police said.

None of their injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

The teens were standing near a home on the west side of Dodge Avenue and shots came from between two houses on the east side of Dodge, police said.
