TSA Pooches Lend A Paw At Chicago Airports

(CBS) – Have you noticed those nightmare lines at O'Hare and Midway airports have drastically lessened?

As CBS 2's Brad Edwards reports, it's because the TSA has enlisted some help that, at first, might give you pause.

Doc is a former Marine and did two tours overseas. His nose knows.

"Going to grandma's house, we smell the cookies baking. The dogs can actually break it down into what is actually in those cookies," Doc's handler, Lori Potoczek, says.

He's on the sniffout for explosives. If you get past Doc, you can be expedited through security.

The dog is one of eight canines enlisted in recent weeks to help at Chicago's two airports.
