Hillary Clinton Stumps In Chicago

(CBS) -- Hillary Clinton was keynote speaker Monday at the Rainbow PUSH women's luncheon and called attention to gun violence in the city.

It was a welcoming crowd that greeted Hillary Clinton. What could be the country's first female presidential nominee acknowledged a room full of mostly women at the push luncheon.

"Women can get stuff done," she said.

Her campaign speech addressed  the usual topics of education, economy, housing,  drug addiction, and the need for more gun control after the massacre in Orlando. She spoke directly to Chicagoans and their concerns about violence.

Meanwhile, the presumptive Republican candidate for president, Donald Trump, ridiculed Clinton and her potential running mate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
