Turkish-American In Chicago On Istanbul Attack: 'It Makes Me Angry'

(CBS) -- Anger and sadness Tuesday afternoon here in Chicago following the suicide bombings in Istanbul.
WBBM's Steve Miller spoke with a leader of Chicago's Turkish American community.
Just moments after the attacks at the Istanbul airport, Ilgar Ulger got a text message from a friend who was at the airport. "My friend says he saw a lot of bodies out there and injured people. But he didn't want to stay too long and he just went back home, basically," he says.
Ulger, president of Turkish American Cultural Alliance, says his friend was not injured.
"It's sad. I mean, I have different words that I can tell you but I don't want to. It makes you angry. It makes me angry. I don't know what they're trying to accomplish by actions like this," he says.
Ulger was born and raised in Turkey and lives here now.
He says there are about 10,000 Turkish Americans in the Chicago area.
