Boy, 15, Shot And Killed In Hammond
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot to death early Thursday in northwest Indiana.
John Lee Hennington, of the 1100 block of Cleveland Street in Hammond, Indiana, was shot about 1:30 a.m. in the same block in which he lived, according to Hammond police and the Lake County coroner's office.
He was pronounced dead at Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Hammond at 2:06 a.m., and his death was ruled a homicide, the coroner's office said.
