Blackhawks Sign Mark McNeill To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Mark McNeill to a one-year deal, they announced Friday.

The 23-year-old McNeill spent most of last season at AHL Rockford, where he led the IceHogs with 25 goals in 64 games. He also had 23 assists.

McNeill made his NHL debut late last January for the Blackhawks.  He was Chicago's first-round pick in the 2011 draft.
