Donald J. Trump Secures GOP Presidential Nomination

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Donald Trump was officially named the Republican nominee for president, completing the billionaire's rise as political outsider to contender for the White House.

New York's delegation put Trump over the top in the delegate count. Trump's children were on the floor has the eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. delivered the votes for his father.
