Ceremony Honors CPD Officer Shot In South Loop
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police officers and their families gathered this morning for a vigil for an officer shot last week in the South Loop.
The ceremony also honored the nine police officers fatally shot in Dallas and Baton Rouge, La. in recent weeks.
"It's important that the City of Chicago knows that through these trials and tribulations, we stick together," said police Supt. Eddie Johnson. "It's important to show support during these difficult times."
