Bears Sign WR B.J. Daniels, DB Brandon Boykin

(CBS) The Bears brought their roster to the 90-man limit Wednesday by signing receiver B.J. Daniels and defensive back Brandon Boykin on the eve of their first practice of the season.

The moves were made as Chicago also placed linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), receiver Marquess Wilson (foot) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee) on the physical-unable-to-perform list.

Daniels has played in eight career games across the past three seasons with the 49ers, Seahawks and Texans. He also was on the Giants' roster for a short time earlier in 2016. He has two career catches.

Boykin has made 131 tackles and snagged eight interceptions while appearing in 64 games, including seven starts, over the past four seasons for the Eagles and Steelers. He also was on the Panthers' roster for a short time earlier in 2016. He was drafted in the fourth round in 2012.
