Bears' Leonard Floyd Left Practice Because Of An Illness
(CBS) Bears fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
Rookie linebacker Leonard Floyd left the team's first training camp practice on a cart Thursday not because of an injury but because of an illness, coach John Fox said. Floyd left during the team's stretching period, and it was thought to be heat-related on a warm, humid day in Bourbonnais.
The Bears took Floyd at No. 9 overall in this year's draft.
Like Floyd, linebacker Roy Robertson-Harris also left practice with an illness. Tight end Khari Lee left practice because of a shoulder sprain.
