Bears Ramp Up Security Measures At Soldier Field

(CBS) The Bears have enhanced security measures at Soldier Field in conjunction with NFL policy for the 2016 season.

All patrons attending games at Soldier Field will now enter through upright metal detectors, and all carry-in items will be searched. The enhanced security takes effect Saturday for the Bears Family Fest at Soldier Field.

The Bears and the league will continue their policy that limits the size of bags that are allowed in the stadium. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC are allowed if they don't exceed 12 inches by six inches by 12 inches. Small clutch bags are also allowed.
