CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two people were stabbed Thursday afternoon at a travel agency in the South Side Chinatown neighborhood.

The man and woman went to see a man who owed them money at the place where he worked in the 2100 block of South China Place at 12:26 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

The man stabbed the 32-year-old man in the abdomen and the 29-year-old woman in the left shoulder and back, police said.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions stabilized.
